The CMSA co-ed outdoor soccer league will consist of an 8-week session on Fridays from June 6^th through August 1^st with play occurring from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.  In addition to the 8-game season, we will also offer a 2-hour practice on May 16^th, 23^rd, and 30^th.  

If this is your first time participating in a CMSA soccer league, you are required to attend at least one of the May practices. This will allow us an opportunity assess each players experience level and help ensure we create equally balanced teams. 

For this season, we will pilot a new format for outdoor soccer. We will simultaneously be playing two 7v7 (including goalies) half-field games at once. Each team will be playing three 30-minute games each evening.   

As each player’s skill level will be considered in the creation of teams, the CMSA outdoor season is geared towards players of beginning, intermediate and advanced skill levels.  Some prior soccer experience would be helpful.

 
REGISTRATION: The league will require a minimum of 50 and be capped at 66 players. Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis and will begin in early May.  Registration will ONLY be available online through the CMSA website (www.chicagomsa.com). Please select the link for online registration, which will then ask you for contact information, emergency info, etc.  Afterwards, you will be linked to the 'shopping cart' to select any option your package (Soccer Registration Fee or CMSA & Soccer Registration Fee). Please note, there is a $3 service charge for online registration. If necessary, please contact soccer@chicagomsa.com to arrange for payment by mail or in person.

Practices – May 16^th, 23^rd, and 30^th from 7:00pm-9:00pm

Regular Season Games – 7:00pm-9:00pm on June 6^th, June 13^th, June 20^th, June 27^th, July 11^th, July 18^th

Playoffs – July 25^th and August 1^st

No games are scheduled for July 4^th   

COST: The regular registration window will be open until May 30^th and cost $70 per person. Late registration, which begins on May 31^st, will cost $80 per person.  In addition, all participants must also be members of CMSA, which provides access to a year’s worth of activities for $20.

LOCATION: The league will be played on the artificial turf soccer field at Montrose Fields, just off Lake Shore Drive.
